Expandable Vases Review
When I saw they had expandable vases on Savemore a few weeks back, I was psyched! I had heard about them from a friend and never knew where to find them. I picked up 6 through a voucher I purchased on Savemore, and planned to keep 2 for myself and give 4 away as gifts.
The voucher was redeemed on The Vase Store. When the vases arrived the other day, I was very surprised how big they were! Upon opening the individually sealed packages I found a fairly sturdy light weight plastic vase, bigger than I imagined (but that's a good thing..), and I immediately filled it with water. At first I was reluctant to believe that it would sit steady on a table when filled, but I was (happily) wrong. The vases hold water well and sit sturdy on a table when filled. However, you must watch the water level when you have flowers inside, because I did notice that when you only fill it about 1/4 of the way it becomes less sturdy.
Do not pick the vase up by the neck when filled! Yes, I know it may seem obvious but I did it and needless to say the water was all over the floor. To be cautious, I pick the vase up with both hands to move it! These vases make great gifts for family and friends and run at a really great price on the web. The vases I bought were $6 on The Vase Store (With voucher from Savemore), but you can pick them up online by searching "Expandable Vase" on amazon. I have seen them for $2.99 on there.
The only thing I have to say on a more critical note about Expandable Vases is that they are a little flimsy when filling & moving and when cleaning up it's hard to get excess water out of the vase. However, it's an inexpensive gift and decorative item for your home that is unique!
