I just love pinterest! There is always some fun and crazy things you can find on there, and plenty of things you just gotta try yourself at home! Here is a round-up of fun and creative ideas for snacks and treats for your Halloween get together's and parties this coming Halloween (it's next month already!). These would be great for the adult parties and those for the kiddos! Enjoy :)

Veggie Skeleton:

This would make an awesome idea for the Adult party goers or even the kids! There's already going to be so much sugar – try something healthy instead! This vegetable tray will be a hit.

Head–lettuce leaves, sliced olives, veggie dip in a small bowl
Body–celery, baby carrots, bell pepper, mushrooms, cherry or grape tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers

Arrange the veggies on a platter in the shape of a skeleton, top with an appropriate sized bowl of veggie dip for the head. (I'm sure your presentation will look better than mine. Note to self: skip the waxed paper next time. I'm not really sure WHY I used it in the first place.)

Mummy Hot Dogs

These cute little snacks would be excellent for the children's party you are throwing or attending for Halloween this year.

Cheese Witch Brooms

These are just too cute and such a great idea! All you need is pretzel rods a few slices of cheese, and fresh chives to create these for your next gathering.

What do you need?

- 12 Slices of Cheese
- 12 Snacks sticks
- 12 Fresh Chive

How do you do it?

1.- Fold each cheese slice and cut the fringes of the broom using a pair of scissors.
2.- Roll the slice of cheese around a snack stick having the fringes looking down.
3.- Finally to keep the cheese around the stick, use some chive and knot it around.

Halloween Brain Dip

This looks uhh.. appetizing? This one comes to is from the lovely All Recipes. If you're a fan of Avocado then this a dip to die for ;)

Directions

  1. Slice the avocados in half. Remove the seeds and set aside. Scoop the avocado out of the skin into a bowl. Mash with a fork or whisk and stir in the salsa. Set aside. Slice off one side of each pit to make it flat and expose the cores of the pits. They will look like eyes.
  2. Remove all of the leaves from the cauliflower and remove the stem, leaving a nice hollow area with the outer part of the head intact. Use toothpicks to hold it together if it starts to fall apart.
  3. Place the cauliflower into a small bowl, so that the hollow is facing upwards and most of the cauliflower is up out of the bowl. The bowl is just for stability. Fill with the avocado dip and arrange the pits as eyes. Decorate the white ''brain'' by weaving thin strands of red and blue fruit leather between the florets to make veins and arteries. I wrap the bowl with cheesecloth and decorate with red food coloring to make it even more horrific!

Jello Shots!

These are surely for the adult party-goer! Make these yummy jello shots in syringes for a fun and yummy treat!

1 (3oz) pkg of strawberry or strawberry kiwi jello
1C water
1/2C vodka
1/4C Midori/melon liqueur
1/4C peach schnapps

Bring water to boiling, then pour over gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Add alcohol, mixing well. Chill 2-4 hours… Makes about 20 (using 1 oz cups and funneling into syringes)

Rice Krispie Ghosts!

These rice krispie treats are a great idea for any party you might attend this halloween! Thanks to the idea room, you can create these yourself!
