Coupon Definitions & Acronyms
Here is a list of common Definitions and Acronyms for things you may see here on That Frugal Girl. If you're unsure of what something stands for when looking at posts you can always refer back here to find out!
ACRONYMS:
- SS: Smart Source Insert
- RP: Red Plum Insert
- P&G or PG: Procter & Gamble insert
- Mfg: Manufacture coupon
- GM: General Mills Insert
- B1G1/BOGO: Buy 1, Get 1 Free
- WYB: When you buy
- OOP: Out of pocket
- $1/2: $1 off of 2 items
- ECB: Extra Care Bucks from CVS
- Wags: Walgreens
- RR: Register rewards from Walgreen's
- MM: Moneymaker
- YMMV: Your miles may vary (when talking about your particular store as compared to another store)
DEFINITIONS:
- Catalina: They are coupons that print out at the register after your sale is complete. It is a separate machine that is just for printing out catalinas. Register Rewards are Catalinas
- Blinkie: Red Smart Source machines found in stores by products, they give out coupons
- Tearpad/Peelie: Coupon pads located in stores to promote products, or coupons found on products
